Counsel
Bob Marcovitch is a veteran appellate practitioner, both as a former federal prosecutor and as a civil litigator. He is now a Dean’s Professor at Emory University School of Law, where he teaches a variety of subject matters, including torts, administrative law, products liability, and legal profession.
He still has time to engage in some law practice, and his focus is on legal issues applicable to medical malpractice defense. This is an area in which he has worked in both the trial and appellate courts of Georgia for the past 10 years, and one in which he continues to work as a consultant to health care providers.
He is admitted to practice in all courts of the State of Georgia, in Massachusetts (inactive), in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, in the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and in the United States Supreme Court.
